The combat mechanism of Mount&Blade can be said to be "non-contact" because the idea of allowing you to move the direction of the tool and support the attack by hovering the mouse in the corresponding direction has not been truly applied in video games. When the game was released in 2008, no game had ever tested a mouse action based melee system - at least in a way that could be swallowed. The 1998 game "Death of the Sword" attempted to create a deeper combat mechanism than click and click, but PC Gamer writer Richard Cobbett described combat as "playing a piano with thorns," which may be enough to illustrate what we need to know. Since 2008, the fighter jet system of Mount&Blade has been used in various games such as Knight: Medieval War, Honor, or most recently, Kingdom Arrival: Salvation. Although they did not evolve from Mount&Blade, they certainly indicate that the gaming industry is ready to embrace the fun of control concepts in fighting games. When Yavuz found the right direction for designing melee systems, he decided to build a game that could fully unleash its potential. All elements of Mount&Blade - an infinitely open world without specific content lines, utilizing medieval backgrounds rather than inspired by the fantasy novel style of Lord of the Rings - are determined by one question: do they highlight the combat system? Creating an open and storyless scale for Mount&Blade is a way to train players in fencing skills. Yavuz said, "If your game has such a great mechanism, then you should increase its replay value and give players a good reason to persist." If you create a 10-15 hour storyline game, they are likely to master the game's mechanics by the end of the game. The open scale of Mount&Blade allows players more time to learn and master the game's combat abilities. " Mount&Blade led the trend with a new look at the time, but this path was not always smooth sailing. The Yavuz couple showed game demos to multiple game publishers in search of external funding, but always returned empty handed. Both of these individuals have limited funds and their choices are also decreasing. When Mount&Blade was launched in 2008, it had already established a strong community and ambitious MODs were in the works. Since then, many large-scale projects have emerged, such as MODs set against the backdrop of the Japanese Empire, Star Wars, Middle earth, and even Westeros in Game of Thrones. The series subsequently launched three expansion packs, selling 6 million copies within 10 years after the release of Mount&Blade. Looking back at the 10 years of Mount&Blade, Yavuz's first feeling was anxiety. The official version of Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord was released in 2012, but the release date of the game remains a big question mark. "When Bannerlord was released, I might feel more comfortable opening a few bottles of champagne, but now I just want to give it my all during the game's development phase." Game Configuration:
OS: Windows® XP
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or AMD 2.5 GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Graphics: 3D graphics card with 64MB RAM
Hard Drive: 100 MB available space
Sound: Standard audio
